Type of LED & Waterproof IP Grade
- SMD5050: Larger LED package, suitable for stronger infrared output requirements.
- SMD2835: Compact LED package, suitable for higher-density and even infrared illumination layouts.
- 940nm Invisible IR: No-glow infrared light ideal for covert lighting, wildlife cameras, security monitoring, and night vision systems.
- Waterproof IP65: Surface covered with clear silicone to help protect against sprayed water from all directions.
Installation Tips
- Always disconnect the power supply before cutting or connecting LED strips.
- Do not crimp the strip or bend it sharply.
- Do not connect LED strips directly to 120V AC power.
- Use a compatible DC12V power supply.
- Apply power to test LED strips before final mounting.
How to Power / Control the Strip
When selecting a transformer:
- Choose wattage based on the total length and LED density of the strip.
- It is recommended to select a transformer with higher wattage than the total rated power to avoid full-load operation.
- Using a higher wattage transformer does not harm the strips and helps improve long-term stability.

#2 One Dimmer to control several strings of light bars by adding Amplifier, and powered by one or several transformers. Note: The strips the Dimmer and Amplifier loaded with cannot exceed their rated max value. And in theory, you can add endless Amplifiers after the Dimmer.
