Installation

1. Select the Correct Downlight

Confirm the required power option — 6W, 8W, or 12W — and select either RGBW or RGBWW according to the desired white-light function.

2. Confirm the Ceiling Cut-Out

Check the fixture dimensions and recommended cut-out before preparing the ceiling opening. The required opening differs between the 6W, 8W, and 12W models.

3. Select a Compatible DC12V Power Supply

Calculate the total wattage of all connected downlights and use a suitable DC12V constant-voltage power supply with sufficient capacity for the complete lighting system.

4. Select the Matching Controller

Use a controller compatible with the selected RGBW or RGBWW downlights. Controller functions may vary depending on the model used.

5. Plan the Wiring

Determine the downlight positions, controller location, power supply location, and cable routing before installation. Confirm wiring polarity and channel connections before applying power.

6. Connect the Lighting System

Connect the DC12V power supply, compatible controller, and downlights according to the wiring requirements of the selected components.

7. Install the Downlights

Insert each fixture into the prepared ceiling opening and confirm that the recessed housing is securely seated and correctly positioned.

8. Test the Color Functions

Restore power and test RGB colors, white-light output, dimming, scenes, and other available functions through the connected controller.

Installation Note: Do not connect these DC12V downlights directly to AC mains power. A compatible DC12V power supply is required. The controller and power supply must match the selected RGBW or RGBWW lighting system and are sold separately.
